Anyone with the desire to be hypnotized can do so. In fact, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The hypnotherapist serves a your facilitator to help you achieve your goals.
Hypnotherapy is not meant to replace any medical or psychological treatment. However, it has been known to be an extremely effective complementary adjunct to mainstream medical an psychological treatment.
The American Medical Association (AMA) endorsed hypnosis as an effective treatment in 1958.
