If you answered YES to any of these questions, then you could most likely engage in hypnosis.
Trance is a natural state that we experience in our daily lives. It can be compared to what you experience just before you fall asleep. You are aware of your surroundings and hear what is said. You will feel that you are in a contented space with your eyes closed.
When you are hypnotized, you are aware of the suggestions that are given to you. You always retain the freedom and ability to accept or reject a particular suggestion. Consequently, you are in control.
What would happen if you couldn’t bring me out of it?
There is no danger of a person failing to come out of a hypnotic state. In fact, it would be impossible to remain hypnotized. Even if the hypnotist left the room while an individual was in the hypnotic state, there would be no danger. The person would either return to alertness id he no longer heard the hypnotist’s voice or would drift off into the natural state of sleep and would awaken after he was rested.
